Edison and Ford Winter Estates

This past Sunday we headed 30 miles north to visit the Edison and Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers which included 20 acres of historical buildings, historic gardens, the Edison Botanic Research Lab and the Estates Museum. The best part, we got in free thanks to our Naples Botanical membership. Yep, we have only been members for 2 months and have already used two of our reciprocal admissions.

The Estates have a really cool self-guided audio tour which Mason even enjoyed.

This building, the Edison Botanic Research Lab, is under construction but we were able to step in and step back in time to imagine Thomas Edison working on an actual invention.

Welcome

We are the NaplesMorgans and we have a dog (Wagner) who is 7, and he is a Chinese Crested Powder Puff, not the hairless but the double coated kind. Mason is 13, and he is a big fan of basketball and football. I work as a technology teacher at a local elementary school. Darin has his own business called Ascendant Wealth Management. Mackenzie is 16, and she loves to spend her time practicing for drumline and watching movies.
