Mackenzie's Birthday

So, I had my birthday party at a place called Koreshan State Park but, in this picture there is one person missing, Lauren. I had a total of 9 girls including me and one boy (Mason). Koreshan is a place where there is a picnic area, a nature trail, and a historic village. First, my guests arrived at my house and then we drove them to the picnic area. Since we have a mini van we could fit 8 girls including me. So Mason and Lauren (who are around the same age) rode in my dad's car with my dad. Then, at the picnic area we ate pizza, climbed trees and sat at the dock above Estero River. After that, we walked the nauture trail which lead to the historic village. When we had visited all the houses we walked the nature trail back to the picnic area and to the parking lot and drove home. Then, at my house we had cake and ice cream and went swimming while other party guests played the wii.

Special Delivery

We arrived home today to find a special delivery from Mom's college roommate, Diane Degenfelder, who works at Frito Lay's headquarters in Dallas, Texas. She decided to surprise us with many new items from Frito, Quaker, Tropicana, and Gatorade. Who would have thought that PepsiCo, who owns Frito Lay, has so many products. Thanks Diane, it's nice to have connections in the business. Give us some time to taste all the products and we'll let you know our favorites.

Alligators

We had a three day weekend so on Sunday we went to Shark Valley. Shark Valley is a national park were you either walk or ride a bike 7 miles into the heart of the everglades and 8 miles back. But the cool thing is that when you reach 7 miles there is a 50 foot tall observatory. The observatory is the farthest point you can go into the Everglades. To go any farther you have to be on a boat. It was the coolest thing ever because when you make your way to the observatory there are alligators on the side of the path. And when we parked our bikes to walk up the observatory there were alligators right in front of us, and one had a pillow of mud!

Welcome

We are the NaplesMorgans and we have a dog (Wagner) who is 7, and he is a Chinese Crested Powder Puff, not the hairless but the double coated kind. Mason is 13, and he is a big fan of basketball and football. I work as a technology teacher at a local elementary school. Darin has his own business called Ascendant Wealth Management. Mackenzie is 16, and she loves to spend her time practicing for drumline and watching movies.
