Okay, so my parents went to Rome for 4 days. The pictures above are well, pictures of my dad in Rome. My mom said that when the people in Rome saw my dad they instantly knew he was a tourist because of his blond hair. The second picture above is my dad throwing a coin into the Trevi fountain. They say if you throw a coin over your shoulder into the Trevi fountain you will someday return to Rome. While my parents where in Rome my mom's parents came and watched Mason and I.

Special Delivery
We arrived home today to find a special delivery from Mom's college roommate, Diane Degenfelder, who works at Frito Lay's headquarters in Dallas, Texas. She decided to surprise us with many new items from Frito, Quaker, Tropicana, and Gatorade. Who would have thought that PepsiCo, who owns Frito Lay, has so many products. Thanks Diane, it's nice to have connections in the business. Give us some time to taste all the products and we'll let you know our favorites.

Alligators

We had a three day weekend so on Sunday we went to Shark Valley. Shark Valley is a national park were you either walk or ride a bike 7 miles into the heart of the everglades and 8 miles back. But the cool thing is that when you reach 7 miles there is a 50 foot tall observatory. The observatory is the farthest point you can go into the Everglades. To go any farther you have to be on a boat. It was the coolest thing ever because when you make your way to the observatory there are alligators on the side of the path. And when we parked our bikes to walk up the observatory there were alligators right in front of us, and one had a pillow of mud!
